Head of Primary Care Education & Development North, Central & East London

Dr Rachel Roberts

Rachel is Head of Primary Care Education and Development working across North London, for Health Education England.  Her main objectives and interests are the development hand in hand of primary and community care education, workforce and services for population health.

Current threads of work include:

  • development of the national training hubs programme (community education provider networks), in order to support education for the out of hospital multi-professional and General Practice workforce
  • development and roll out of the targeted GP training scheme, and
  • cross sector innovative methods in education for new models of care

She is a clinical skills assessment examiner for the RCGP and has a keen interest in support for trainees in difficulty.  She recently published "The CSA exam, maximising your success" with 2 other examiners and RCGP recent role player lead.  She has a special interest in supporting everyone to achieve their potential.
